It is inevitable for an artist and avid collector to hunt for the perfect design element for a home. When Edgar Berebi designed their Soho loft in Manhattan in 1985, it was difficult to find hardware to match the Arts & Craft décor. It was at this moment that Edgar realized how important this miniature design element was to a home. Years later the Berebi family moved to New England. Their cottage style house required classic American hardware to complement the décor that filled their home. This time Edgar decided to design the knobs and pulls. That was the beginning of the Edgar Berebi collection of architectural hardware. In 2003 the collection was placed in some of the finest showrooms in the country.
Edgar’s background in jewelry and fine home décor is apparent in its meticulous engraving and detail. We like to think of each piece as a work of art in concept and design that makes a home unique.
